Please note: You must present your AIA membership number in order to complete the AIA Vitality Health Check and ensure you drink plenty of water before the health check.
What's involved in an AIA health check?
The AIA Vitality Health Check involves four simple measures that give a useful insight into your health and wellbeing:
Body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood glucose levels.
Blood pressure – high blood pressure (hypertension) can have no warning signs and lead to life-threatening conditions like a heart attack or stroke.
Cholesterol – high cholesterol can similarly lead to heart attack or stroke.
Blood glucose – vital in screening for diabetes.
Where can I get one?
You can complete your free AIA Vitality Health Check once per membership year at participating Unichem or Life Pharmacy. Pharmacy staff are fully qualified and equipped to deliver accurate results by the end of your check-up (so you’re not left waiting to hear back from your tests).
