What’s involved in Impetigo treatment?
Impetigo is a common and highly contagious skin infection that causes red sores, which can break open, ooze fluid, and develop a yellow–brown crust. It often appears around the nose, mouth, hands, or other exposed areas of the body.
At Unichem, our trained pharmacists can assess mild cases of impetigo and provide appropriate treatment. This involves a consultation to check your symptoms, followed by the supply of an effective oral antibiotic or, if necessary, referral to a doctor for further care.
Why treat it early?
Impetigo spreads easily through skin contact and can pass quickly among children and families.
Early treatment reduces discomfort, prevents the infection from worsening, and helps stop it from spreading to others.
Where can I get help?
