Skin Infection Consult

Our pharmacy offers private consultations to assess and treat mild inflammatory skin infections such as impetigo, infected eczema, or infected insect bites.

A trained pharmacist will assess the affected area, discuss symptoms, and if appropriate, supply medications such as topical or oral antibiotics. You may be referred to a doctor if the infection is more severe or widespread.

Visit us today for advice and effective treatment for minor skin infections.

The cost is for a 15-minute consultation plus the cost of the medicine itself (if eligible).

Topical antimicrobial treatments

Target bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections with pharmacist-recommended creams, ointments, or gels designed to reduce inflammation and support healing.

Oral medications (when appropriate)

Our trained pharmacists can assess whether an oral antibiotic, antifungal, or antiviral treatment may be required and advise on next steps if a prescription is needed.

Wound care and cleansing solutions

Promote faster recovery with professional guidance on proper cleaning, dressing, and ongoing care for affected areas.

Soothing and protective skincare

Strengthen the skin barrier with suitable products that calm irritation, support recovery, and help prevent reinfection.
