Our trained Pharmacists are able to offer antibiotic treatment for UTIs where appropriate without the need for a prescription. Your Pharmacists will work through a thorough checklist with you to ensure the medicine is right for you.
The treatment, a three-day course of antibiotics, is available to women between the ages of 16 and 65 who are not pregnant. Eligibility criteria applies.
We can provide Nitrofurantoin for eligible patients for Urinary Tract Infection including people 65-74 years old
Eligible Persons: People = 65 years and less than 75 years of age with a vagina, who are assessed as having an uncomplicated UTI.
Uncomplicated UTI with two or more of the following symptoms: Painful urination, urinary frequency and/or urgency, suprapubic pain.
The cost is for a 15-minute consultation plus the cost of the medicine itself (if eligible).
